Our Grab Nets are the ideal solution for restaurants, bars, hotels or properties where access is an issue or there is no driveway to deposit a giant net. It is a relatively quick process to decant from the pallet and pack away in your log store or garage after delivery. Simply grab a net from your store and take to your fireside.
10″ LOG LENGTH – READY TO BURN, KILN-DRIED FIREWOOD
Our 10″ logs are suitable for the vast majority of open fires & stoves. We provide hardwood (suitable for open fires and log burners) or Larch which is better suited for enclosed stoves. Grab Nets are a very convenient way to receive your firewood with very little log dust or mess when compared to a giant net or other methods of delivery.
HARDWOOD GRAB NETS
Our hardwood Grab Nets are cut to around 10 inches and contain kiln-dried, ready to burn Silver Birch. Birch has been selected due to it’s hot, long burning properties. Our Hardwood is always sourced from FC regulated woodlands and is sized to fit the vast majority of open fires and wood burning stoves.
LARCH GRAB NETS
Our Larch Grab Nets are cut to around 10 inches in size and are suitable for wood burning, enclosed stoves only. Although technically a softwood Larch is the hardest softwood available and is our most popular firewood. It has a lower price compared to Hardwood but still provides a high, long heat.

We deliver free of charge to any address on Mainland UK, including the Highlands & the Isle of Skye! Simply select your preferred delivery date at checkout and our courier will do their very best to get your firewood to you on that date.
FREIGHT DELIVERY VIA PALLET PUMP AND VEHICLE WITH TAIL-LIFT.
We pack your firewood onto a pallet which is delivered by a freight courier. Your firewood is delivered by an 18 tonne vehicle (about the size of a bin lorry). Please ensure your property is accessible by a vehicle of this size and that there are no bridges with weight or height restrictions, overhanging trees or other hazards, and that there is sufficient access for a vehicle of this size (including any turning that may be required).
REQUIRED GROUND CONDITIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY
Your Firewood is unloaded using a tailgate and pallet pump. Due to the weight of the wood delivery is to KERBSIDE ONLY (although we have found if you have a flat, concrete driveway the drivers are happy to convey into your boundary, however this is not to be expected). It is IMPERATIVE that you have a solid area of hardstanding for the pallet to be taken off the vehicle. The pallet pump will not work on gravel, mud, grass or uneven or ground with any gradients. It is the customers responsibility to ensure solid ground is available for the delivery driver so please do consider the above when placing your order.
*IMPORTANT TARGET DELIVERY DATE INFORMATION
Your delivery can be made from 0800 to 1800 hours. Due to the complexities of freight deliveries we cannot provide a time of expected arrival. The target delivery date selected at checkout is met on the majority of occassions however the date is to be used as a guide and not a guarantee, deliveries, especially to more rural locations can result in unavvoidable delays. We do ask our courier to contact our customers if delays are to be expected however due to operational demand this cannot be met on every occassion.
