Daffodil picking has finally commenced on our farm this week, just in time for Easter. Still no spring barley sown with us yet. Hopefully we will get wheels rolling next week, if the weather can remain dry for a few days.

Our semi-seasoned firewood sale commenced this morning with Scots Pine available first.

Remember pine is just as good as larch for woodburners, but takes quite a bit longer to dry, so needs to be bought in April to be ready to burn next winter.
