After testing a number of options, we have decided to go with BSW and their Hotties.
We have been very impressed with both the heat output and long-lasting burn time. They also tick all our environmental boxes, they are UK produced and are made with FSC certified sawmill by-products. There are a number of options shown online that come from completely un-controlled forestry production, including materials derived in Russia.
